I bought this unit because I needed something that goes beyond my normal laptop especially with regard to travel. The screen is bright and crisp and the unit is relatively portable and aesthetically appealing. Performance when running simple document editing and viewing of web pages was more than enough, and the system felt more responsive than Atom-based systems I tried. The only downside is the keyboard, which I still found a little 'cramped and the keys have a feeling mushy.

Changed thanks to the popularity and success of the Asus Eee PC, this netbook series and is developing much faster than any other laptop models. The Asus Eee PC 1005HA now with a larger hard drive and a new operating system.
The 10.1-inch netbook is a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM and driven) now comes with a large 250 GB hard drive (upgraded from the previous 160 GB hard drive. The 10.1-inch display is an LED-backlit display with 1024 x 600Resolution. This model runs on the Windows 7 Starter (32 bit) operating system. Many other netbook models in the market are still running the older Windows XP operating system.

Dekcell This is an extension of the life 12-cell battery I bought from brilliantstore.com me about 7.5 hours with an overnight charge. I was worried about the purchase because it is not an Acer battery, but to my surprise, it works like a charm! The only downside of this (well, I guess it depends on who is) on them that there is a larger battery, it actually props the laptop in a corner. But it's really good for the laptop, because it holds due to the cool air stream. Overall it is a reallygreat product and you definitely can not beat the price!

Wow this is a great machine.
I had already studied a series of netbooks, but never pulled the trigger. Small screen size / resolution (10 inches / 600P) and slow processor cost of making a purchase. I thought you had to scroll down to take anything. Plus slow processor will be limited. When I saw this notebook and read the reviews, I decided to buy one.
